Dirac Inc is building software to transform how manufacturers create, share, and use work instructions. We’re growing quickly and need a people-focused Technical Recruiter and HR Generalist who can take ownership of our recruiting, onboarding, and HR operations as we scale.
Role Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Technical Recruiter and HR Generalist to lead recruiting and manage HR operations for a 20-person and growing team. This role will be the first dedicated HR hire at Dirac, responsible for building strong hiring pipelines, ensuring smooth onboarding and offboarding, managing compliance, and supporting our employees day-to-day.
You’ll work closely with leadership to ensure we attract and retain the best talent, while implementing efficient HR processes using platforms like Rippling and Ramp.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruiting & Talent Acquisition
- Own the full-cycle recruiting process: sourcing, screening, scheduling, and coordinating offers.
- Build relationships with candidates and ensure a great candidate experience.
- Partner with hiring managers to anticipate staffing needs and craft effective job descriptions.
- Onboarding & Offboarding
- Manage onboarding process in Rippling, ensuring smooth setup of payroll, benefits, and access.
- Conduct new hire orientations and facilitate cultural integration.
- Handle employee offboarding professionally and compliantly.
- HR Operations
- Administer payroll, benefits, and compliance via Rippling.
- Manage company cards and expense tracking in Ramp.
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Draft and update policies and employee handbook as needed.
- Employee Engagement & Culture
- Act as a first point of contact for HR-related questions.
- Support initiatives that strengthen company culture, communication, and retention.
- Partner with leadership on performance management processes.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of HR experience, ideally in a startup or small company environment.
- Strong track record in recruiting and talent acquisition.
- Experience with Rippling (HRIS/payroll/benefits) and Ramp (expense management).
- Knowledge of employment law and HR compliance best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
